Getting to Stockholm

Best airport to fly to is Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) located about 35 minutes from central Stockholm.

Options from the airport are either Ubers/taxis or the Arlanda Express train which takes 20 minutes to Stockholm Centralstation.

Places to Stay

The coach will be picking up and dropping off at Stockholm Centralstation. There are plenty of hotels nearby but if you hate scrolling through Booking.com, we’ve listed a few nearby options here!

  • Scandic No 53 – The Premier Inn of Sweden
  • Elite Hotel Adlon – Slightly fancier if that’s your vibe
  • Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel – Got a pool and the word Viking in the name

Stockholm is a relatively small city with great public transport so feel free to venture further away and find a cooler hotel or AirBnB on your own!

When we stay in Stockholm we tend to spend most of our time in the area of Södermalm!

FAQ

Venue Location

Villa Soludden, Ekviks Gårds väg 60,
139 40 Värmdö, Sweden

Dress Code

Formal Wedding Attire. Men – Suits. Women – Evening wear. Whilst the wedding will predominantly be inside, please bear in mind it is taking place in October in Sweden so might get a bit chilly, bringing a coat is advisable!

The coach will drop you about 300 meters from the venue so if you're planning to wear your highest heels, maybe don't.

Coach Option

We'll have a coach leaving from Stockholm Centralstation to the wedding venue and back. Please let us know if you'd like a seat when you RSVP. More information about exact timings to come.

Travel to and from venue without coach

If you would rather make your own way to and from the venue we recommend pre-booking an Uber/taxi as public transport to the venue is limited.

The coach back will be leaving when the wedding finishes at 01:30. If you don't have a 01:30 party in you, feel free to pre-book an Uber or a taxi through Taxi Stockholm. There is also parking available at the venue.

Friday Night Pub

To kick-start the celebrations, we're inviting everyone who wants to join us for a pub night on the Friday evening in Stockholm. This is of course not mandatory and sadly we won't be able to provide food and drink for free during this evening. Location and timings to come.

Speeches

Even though the wedding is taking place in Sweden, we're going with the more British tradition of a smaller number of speeches by a select few people.

Gifts

You being there is the greatest gift of all and we are aware a lot of you will be travelling in from far and wide, so we don't expect any gifts. But if you wish to give something, the best option would be a contribution toward our honeymoon.
